  1. When will the application track me?
  2. Description: The application will track an Employee based on the Track settings defined in the Track and Sync Settings.

    How: Edit an Employee and within the Track and Sync Settings,

    1. Track: Defines when to Track the Employee.
      1. During Working Hours: The Employee’s Tracks will be recorded only during the Working Hours.
      2. For Activities: The Employee’s Location will be captured only when he performs any Activities like Start Work, Filling a Form etc…
      3. Never: The application will not Track that Employee.

  3. How does the application calculate my traveled distance?
  4. The distance traveled by an Employee is based on the frequency with which the Locations of the Employee are recorded. And this depends on the setting in the Track and Sync Settings of an Employee. Edit an Employee and within the Track and Sync Settings,

    1. Tracking Frequency: The time span between the two instances where the application captures the Employee’s Location. It is defined in seconds, the lower the number, the accurate the distance will be calculated. Default Setting will be at 300 seconds and that is the recommended value as well.

    The distance traveled by the Employee will be the displacement between these two locations i.e. the distance traveled between these two instances will be the straight line distance and not the actual path.

    Due to this, the application can only provide 85 - 90% accuracy regarding the distance traveled, as the actual travel may differ from the straight line path the system uses to calculate the distance.

  5. How to set the option to complete the past assign routes?
  6. Navigation : Go to Admin Mobile Configuration AppSettings can complete past assign routes.
    Enabling this will allow user to work on past route plan.

  7. How to set the option to complete the future assign routes?
  8. Navigation : Go to Admin Mobile Configuration AppSettings can complete future assign routes.
    Enabling this will allow user to work on future route plan.

  9. How to enable Allow employee to add customer to Route?
  10. Go to Admin Mobile Configuration in Customer Settings select the Allow Employee to add customer to route.
    When enabled allows employee to add customer to route from mobile app.

  11. How to Create a Route?
    1. Login to EFFORT Admin Panel.
    2. Click on the ROUTES in Menu-bar.
    3. Click on CREATE ROUTE PLAN.
    4. New Route Plan page will display.
    5. Fill Route Plan Name(mandatory), Route Id, Duration(indays) and Min Nights to stay.
    6. Then click on SAVE button.

  12. How to Add Route to the Employee?
    1. Login to EFFORT Admin Panel.
    2. Click on the ROUTES in Menu-bar.
    3. Click on ASSIGN.
    4. Assign Route Plan page will display.
    5. Select Route Plan, Employee and Form. If you select the 'This is a recurring route assignment' then you find other options like Frequency, From, Assign and click on ASSIGN.

  13. How to monitor Route?
    1. Login to EFFORT Admin Panel.
    2. Click on HOME in Menu-bar.
    3. In the home screen you can monitor the route under the Route Plan section.

  14. How to get the Reports of the Route?
    1. Login to EFFORT Admin Panel.
    2. Click on REPORTS in Menu-bar.
    3. Click on Route Plan Reports.
    4. Route Plan Report page will Display.
    5. Select the Employees from Available Employees, Routes, Dates and format type.
    6. Click on LOAD.
  15. How to add Activities in the Customer?
    1. Login to EFFORT Admin Panel.
    2. Click on ADMIN in Menu-bar.
    3. Click on Activities. Click on CREATE.
    4. Create/Edit Customer Activity page will display.
    5. Fill Activity Name, Select From With Customer Field, Map to Customer type.
    6. Click on LOAD.
