Work Settings: Fields and Description

In work settings, you can enable or disable the following fields.

Field Description
Enable work sharing It is assigning one work to multiple employees. Here, an individual employee can consider it as an independent work to update specific work activities.
Enable work check-in Shows options for Check-In into work at work location.
Allow work assignee to perform all activities The assignee of the work will have all the permissions to perform all the activities defined in the work process.
Allows work creator to perform all activities The creator of the work will have all the permission to perform all the activities defined in the work process.
Don’t allow managers to perform their subordinates activities Managers cannot perform activities assigned to their subordinates.
Show work activity assignment button Shows or hides the work activity assignment button from web and mobile app.
Allow work rejections Employees can reject works assigned to them.
Allow work invitation rejections Employees can reject work invitations assigned to them.
Capture rejection reasons Enforces the employee to fill the rejection form while rejecting the work.
Don’t send works older than selected period in first sync Select number of months for which incomplete works should be sent in the first sync to the mobile app. This setting is useful during reinstalling the application.
Don’t send works actionable by subordinates in sync Send all works that are actionable or assigned to individuals.
Send only actionable works to managers in sync When a data sync happens, it sends only the actionable and related works to managers.
Allows anyone in the company to access any work through search Users can search all works in the company from EFFORT plus app even if they are assigned to other employees of different hierarchy.
Hide overdue works in mobile app Field executives will not be able to see the works that are past the due date.
Hide completed works in mobile and web app Field executives will not be able to see the works which are already completed.
Hide non-actionable works in the mobile app Enables to hide works that are not actionable to user.
Allow users to add new works from web and mobile app Users will not be able to add new works from the web and mobile app.
Allow only online submissions Employees can perform activities only in online mobile.
End time duration from works start time Auto calculation is enabled. Provides the end time based on the duration provided
Download work medias A button is enabled for every work to download all the media files.
Auto Complete Enable this seting to define criteria for work auto-complete based on a date field. When you enable this setting, you can see the AutoComplete Works Based On FormFields setting, where you need to select the date field. The work will be marked as Completed after the configured date gets completed.

Note: This setting will be visible only when the Auto Complete setting is enabled.

It is a dropdown where you can see all the Date fields of the work. You need to select a Date field based on which the work needs to be auto-completed.

GeoTag Works When Created on Mobile App Enable this seting to capture the location where the work has been created on the mobile app.
Mobile APP Works List Screen Default Sort Option It is a dropdown where you can select a default sort option based on which the works need to be displayed in the mobile app. The dropdown has the below options.
  • oldest first: If you select this option, the older works appear on the top.
  • latest first: If you select this option, the latest works appear on the top.
  • closest current location: If you select this option, the works that are near to your current will appear on the top.
Include Detailed Report / Include work print preview Enable this seting to add a column in the worklist screen that enables the users to view work details in the designed/default format. In Web App, you can see the below column on the work screen when this setting is enabled.

Enable sending SMS/EMAIL of Employee Tracking Link To Customers This setting allows you to enable the Send tracking link to Customer option on the work creation screen. It enables sending employee tracking links to customers through email or SMS. The customers can use that to track employee location. In Web App, you can see the below option on the work creation when this setting is enabled.

Enable Creation of Recurring Works This setting enables the creation of recurring works that need to be performed on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Enable this checkbox to add Recurring Work section on the work creation screen that allows you to configure recurring works. In Web App, you can see the below section on the work creation when this setting is enabled.

Allow Work Activity Invitation Rejections

Enable this setting to allow the users to reject work activity invitations. If this setting is disabled, the users will be unable to reject work invitations, and they can see only Accept option.

Send Works based on work start date time Enable this setting to send created works to the assigned users based on the work start date and time. For example, let's say you have created a work with a start date as 25-10-2021 on 20-10-2021 and assigned a user. If this setting is disabled, the assigned user can see the work on the created date itself I.e. 20-10-2021. If this setting is enabled, the assigned user can see the work on the start date only I.e. 25-10-2021.
Show Only Actionable works Enable this setting to show only the actionable works in the work process screen. For example, let's say you have created a work that has 3 activities and is assigned to 3 different users. You have assigned the first activity to user A, the second activity to user B, and the third activity to user C. If this setting is disabled, all three users can see the created work on the work process screen. If this setting is enabled, the work can be visible to user B after the completion of the first activity by user A. Likewise, the work will be visible to user C only after the completion of the first two activities by users A and B.
Allow User To Download Web Print On Mobile Enable this setting to allow the users to download web print on the mobile app. When this setting is enabled, the users can see the button in the mobile app work details screen, as shown in the below screenshot.

Display Api Logs
Enable this setting to view API Logs for data and decision activities. It allows the users to view details like requests, responses, etc. The users can see the below button when this setting is enabled.

When this setting is enabled, you need to select employee groups. The employees in the selected group can have access to view API logs.

Skip system activity This setting is designed for the works that have System Activities. Enable this setting to allow the users to skip the system activities if failed multiple times.
Show Invisble Field In View Mode Enable this setting to show all the work fields that you made invisible in view mode.
Enable multiple print Templates Enable this setting to generate multiple formats of PDF-based conditional logics. For example, if you have multiple PDF print formats that should be generated based on the previous condition (if yes, print format 1 & if no, print format 2), then you can enable this setting.
Work invitation alarm time (seconds) Enable this setting to alert your employees instantly with an alarm when a work invitation is received. This alarm will remind your employees that they got a new work invitation. The alarm starts ringing for the specified duration until the employee accepts or rejects the work invitation.
Enable Online Work Invitations Enable this setting to send work invitations to the employees who have connected to an active internet connection. It helps you get quick responses from the employees by sending the work invitations in online mode. So that the work can be started immediately without any delays.
Remove work json prefix parameters Enable this setting to ignore Work Fields prefix on API creation.
Make External ID required for work creation Enable this setting to make the external ID mandatory to create works through API. If this setting is disabled, It is optional to supply the external ID to create works through API. If this setting is enabled, the users will not be able to create works through API without providing the external ID.
Consider Only location for manage auto allocate and scheduling Enable this to simplify the configuration of auto allocation and scheduling of the works. This setting allows you to send work invitations and allocate works automatically to the users in the location. There is no need for the work fields such as Start Time, End Time, Pincode, and Location to configure the auto allocation and scheduling. You need only the location and start time to configure.
Remove works from the mobile Enable this setting to remove the completed and not started works from the employee mobile app. You can delete works on a daily or weekly, or monthly basis. It helps you clean up the employees mobile app and let them focus on the fresh works.
Allow bulk activity perform

When this setting is enabled, the managers can perform the multiple approval activities at once. They can select the activities and perform them.

Show Work Save, Save & New (Web & Mobile)

By enabling this setting, you can activate the Save and Save & New buttons for creating works. Once enabled, users have the option to click the Save & New button, allowing them to save their current work and immediately create a new one.

Enable List level visibility of Work Activities

Can perform activity Works of other branches

Enabling this setting allows the users to perform actionable works that are assigned to other branches.
